Fobisia Maths Competition
Our students rose magnificently to the challenge of entering our first Fobisia maths competition, coming up against British International Schools from all over SE Asia.

There was a group competition, in which all our teams managed to find their way out of the virtual escape room.

There were individual awards for Premier (Y7) who gained a Silver award as well as Bronze awards for: Joe (Y6), Milin (Y6), Tara (Y6) and Max (Y9). Congratulations to our award winners and all those who participated in the competition.

There will be more challenges and events across different subject areas, now that we are full members of Fobisia.

Learning around the school
Friday assembly times have continued to be a highlight of the week, as learning across the week is shared. This week I was particularly taken with Year 3 as they encouraged us to think positively.

Theory of Knowledge: TOK- tober
Throughout October, IB students worked hard to try and promote an inquisitive attitude in secondary classes and within the whole-school community. During their Theory of Knowledge lessons, students designed and developed activities for younger year groups. The objective was to create an activity linked to a given TOK essay question and encourage younger students to consider the underlying assumptions and concepts. Click here to discover more
