The end of term event schedule is quite hectic. Transition days have been taking place for some classes to help the children make a smooth move into their new year group. Moving to secondary school can be an especially daunting experience but not for our Year 6, who were really excited to have a taste of specialist lessons with their new teachers.
Spanish Tapas and Chinese Delights
Thanks go to ‘Cool Breeze for giving students in Spanish classes a taste of Spain and to ‘The Hilton’ for giving students in Mandarin classes an insight into Chinese cuisine.
Goodbyes and Thanks
As we approach the end of the year there is some poignancy as as we give our thanks and best wishes to teachers who are leaving. Many of these teachers have been with us for many years. They have all contributed to the success of the school and have made a difference to the students in their care.
We will say farewell and huge thanks to Mr Matt, KS2 coordinator and Y5 teacher, Mr Aaron, PE teacher, Ms Sacha Y1 teacher, Ms Katie, Y1 teacher, Ms Terri-Anne, Secondary English teacher and Ms Jess, EY teacher.
