Online Learning
Teachers are unanimous in praising the attitudes of the students towards their online learning. Attendance, engagement and the quality of work have all been excellent. We really appreciate your support during these difficult times. I will keep you fully updated of official notifications regarding the physical reopening of our campus.
IGCSE Students
Students in Year 11 have shown amazing resilience and fortitude with the very recent news that IGCSE public examinations have been cancelled in Thailand. Internal examinations are planned to take place at school in order to support this process and teachers are now working with students to generate evidence of their levels of attainment. Their positive attitude will not only stand them in good stead for this change of assessment but is a strength that will be called upon throughout their lives.
World Earth Day
Students through the school joined in with World Earth Day. Their passion to make a difference to the future of our planet is very evident in their comments. The full page of comments can be accessed here: https://padlet.com/aliciad5/5u5164xp8b40q02g

Update on HHIS Campus Developments
Secondary Building
HHIS campus is entering the next exciting phase of development as the construction of a three storey building is now well underway. Student numbers continue to grow and this new facility will provide high quality specialist accommodation. The Secondary Learning Centre will include the following facilities:
- Large Art Studio;
- Music Rooms with sound proofing;
- IB Study Rooms
- Further Classroom accommodation
- Upper Secondary/IB Library
- Exhibition/Meeting Room
- IB Administrative Area
- Computer Science facilities
Construction of this next phase is due to be completed by January 2022. In order to provide our IB students study-space in term 1, we will be renting three villas directly opposite our school. These will be fully staffed and resourced.
Full Campus Developments
During the following year, the construction of a further full size basketball court will follow and further longer term developments will include a Multi-Use Sports Hall and an administration block. There are plans to acquire off site parking facilities.
Best wishes
