It has been an action-packed final week to the term; full of excitement and celebration. It was a great way to complete the Old Thai Year and to welcome-in the New Year.
Inaugural Swimming Galas
The first swimming galas in our new 25m pool were a great celebration of the students’ enjoyment of swimming and also of their prowess. The Green Team swept the board in the team competitions for each gala. Well done to all the swimmers and thank you to K Pla, Coach Hin and to Mr Aaron.
Snack Attack Project
Congratulations to our Y7 and Y8 students for raising ฿15,484 as part of the Snack Attack Collaborative Project! The money will be donated to the charity ‘Bring the Elephants Home’. Thank you to everyone for your support. https://bring-the-elephant-home.org/project/bee-the-change/.
All students showed wonderful entrepreneurial spirit. Thank you to everyone for your support. Mr Lewis
Sa Wa Dee Pbee Mai! – Happy Songkran
The students took part in the Thai traditional Water Pouring ceremony. This was followed by quite a wondrous Thai Fair with whole hosts of traditional foods and gorgeous Thai desserts. Thank you to our Thai team of teachers K Gade, K Aom, K Jeab, K Gluay, K AJ and K Note for making our Songkran celebrations so magical and meaningful. A new Thai year is beginning.
Finally, our exuberant and lively school rock band played us out to begin our Songkran holiday break. Thank you Sophia, Bravo, PingAn, Bogdan and K Note.
I wish you all a safe and happy Songkran.
We will be back to school on Monday April 19th.
สวัสดีปีใหม่ไทยและสุขสันต์วันสงกรานต์!
