The opening of the new building was a great source of excitement last week. Secondary students and staff are finding the whole building to be a serene and calm place of learning. Primary students are also benefiting from the new facilities for their music and art lessons. On stepping into the Art room one Y3 student exclaimed ‘this is just so creative!’.
The uniform shop has moved to the new building and is being managed by K May who is the administrator for the new area. Uniform requests, secondary student absences or general enquiries regarding secondary students can be made to K May by email: may.m@huahinschool.com or by line official: https://lin.ee/bHZHBIG

Food Bank Donations
On Friday February 11th, two IB students arranged a non-uniform day to raise money and opportunities for students to bring non charitable food to be donated to the Food Bank charity. In total, we raised 14, 416 baht and a large quantity of non-perishable food, which we were able to give the organisers of Hua Hin Food Bank on Tuesday the 21st of February. They were overwhelmed and grateful for all of our efforts and kindness to reach out to them, and also to bring joy to people in our community, because everything we have raised will be given to over 50 different local families in Huahin. Thank you to everyone who helped to make this possible.

The Snack Attack Project
Year 7 students have started this exciting cross-curricular challenge where they will be collaborating to research, design and pitch their own unique snack – they will need to ensure their idea is fair trade, sourced from local ingredients and is a healthy option. At the end of term, students will share their innovations and present their marketing ideas in a variety of ways. This project is always a highlight and many highly imaginative and creative ideas have already emerged.Mr LewisWhat has landed in the KS1 garden?Children in Year 1 and 2 were mystified by the overnight appearance of strange objects in their garden. They worked with senior detectives to try to unravel the mystery and their ideas were highly imaginative. The scenario created great excitement and motivation as they launched into their new topic about Space and Planets.
