Online learning is continuing to go well with some wonderfully innovative thinking from students, staff and parents too. The photos below show how the online sessions have also stimulated some interesting active off-line work. Next week (January 25th to 29th inclusive) is our rescheduled half-term holiday, providing perhaps, a break from screentime. The Year 9s. As part of the chemistry course Year 9 has been learning about nanotechnology and small particles called buckyballs. They are made of carbon atoms joined together in a sphere. They can be used by doctors to deliver medicine to specific areas in the body and can also be used to remove harmful substances. In these pictures you can see some of the wonderful 3D models that the class have made of the buckyballs. Upper KS2 had another lively sharing of their week’s learning with science shining through and top tips on internet safety.
Fitness ECAMr Aaron’s whole school fitness ECA session had a wonderful turnout last Monday. There was a super buzz and feeling of community as everyone was vociferously encouraged to give each exercise their all by different teachers.
