Inaugural Swimming Event
It was wonderful to see our swimmers giving their best in the Time-Trials on Friday. 130 took part – from year 1 to year 12 and our first school records have been set. As always, it was a joy to see the spirit and support the students showed for each other’s efforts.
Thank you to Ms Pla and to Coach Hin for creating such excitement and enthusiasm for swimming.

Glimpses of learning around the school

El dia del libro’ or World Book Day in Spanish, 4th of March 2021

This year, students in Years 5 and 6 have been learning about food, colours and days of the week in Spanish.
We then read the famous book ‘La oruga glotona’ (A very Hungry Caterpillar) in class, and decided on creating our very own version of this story!

The work produced by students has been absolutely outstanding, from the writing and illustrations to the creativity and originality of the stories.

Everyone is enjoying the books, which are now displayed outside the Spanish room.
¡Buen trabajo!
Profe Alicia.

Story telling
Communication and presentation skills are vital for us all today so it was lovely to see Year 5 having the confidence to present to their class as they prepare for their own story writing.

Keeping Cyclists Safe
It is so good that we have so many students cycling to and from school. Please help to keep our cyclists safe by driving slowly and giving them ample room.

Best wishes,
